Multi-genre guitar player, composer, writer & music therapist Tim might be the textbook definition of an all-rounder. Classically trained and with a lifelong love of rhythm & blues, his work as a performer and composer spans a wide range of musical styles.

Based in the North of England, Tim’s guitar playing has taken him across the UK & Europe, from accompanying emerging singer songwriters and supporting established bands on tour, to playing with the most popular Latin music acts in the UK. He is known for his solo arrangements of classical, folk, jazz and popular music pieces, and remains an in-demand performer for studio recording work, as well as live performances from concerts and churches to festivals and theatre pits.

He has performed and recorded on electric, acoustic, classical and 12-string guitars, as well as ukulele and lapsteel. You can see & hear examples of Tim’s work on his media page. Since qualifying as a music therapist, Tim has been providing a psychodynamic therapy service for children & young people who have experienced early life trauma and have complex emotional needs. He is available to provide clinical supervision to newly qualified arts-based therapists, as well as care and educational staff working with children. In addition to this, Tim is able to deliver one-off courses on using music in a range of settings, as well as therapeutic strategies & techniques.
